SPAY / NEUTER
Overpopulation Calculator
The North Georgia Animal League fully supports the idea of
spaying or neutering your pets.  Research has shown that
pets that have been altered have lasting health benefits
including reducing the risk of some types of cancer, live
longer lives, have reduced social problems, and don't
produce litters that can't be placed in good homes.  We
recommend that all pet owners have the needed surgery
done as soon as possible for their pets age and health
status.  Please check with your local vet or if you are a new
pet owner check your yellow pages for a veterinarian near
you.  There are also low cost spay/neuter clinics available
in our area. For more information please email us at
ngal@ngalonline.org.
Here are some testimonials and
pictures from some of our members!
Bitsy
Misty
Misty and Bitsy are two very opinionated pets
that are both spayed and have been since a
young age. They wouldn't have it any other
way.    Owners Steve and Adrienne Romines
Ika
Ika (pronounced Eeka) is one German
Shepard that is full of life and health. Some of
the credit for that goes to her spay procedure.
Owners Virg and Karen Sperry
Holly
Holly was a stray. She came to my yard on
Christmas six years ago.  I had her spayed
as soon as she was old enough so that
there couldn't be any homeless pups.
