NGAL-North Georgia Animal League
WHO ARE WE?

We are a 501c3 non-profit organization whose
purpose is to improve the quality of life for animals
through educational programs, to serve in an advisory
capacity to the community, to reduce the suffering
among animals, and to reduce the unwanted pet
population through spay/neuter advocacy.  It is the
policy of NGAL to advocate the humane treatment of
all animals by maintaining and maximizing the
standards upheld by the Humane Society of the
United States.
WHAT DO WE DO?

We have several ongoing projects including a
spay/neuter rebate program available to Walker
County residents and individuals adopting from the
Walker County Animal Shelter; an annual pet fair with
exhibitions, vendors, educational information, pet
parades, contests, and pet photography; pet
adoptions; and other fund raising activities.  Future
projects include the development of more community
educational programs, volunteer groups to work at
the Walker County Animal Shelter.  The dog park is
complete and available for use.  Come check it out.
